I am a semi-retired biomedical researcher working in Canberra where I live. I have northern-Italian ancestry. I am a Christian, and I am very health conscious, loyal, kind and compassionate. I am a family-oriented person with traditional family values. I enjoy the company of family and good friends. I have two grown-up boys. I recently became widowed and live alone. I feel the need to have a relationship with a special compatible person with whom to share life's journey.

Apart from home and family, my interests include: Reading (keeping up with some areas of research that interests me), classical and pop music, singing, opera, bushwalking/sightseeing, gardening, house renovating, some travelling, watching movies and going to restaurants - and of course I like Italian food (as well as Chinese)!
